PetOnTrack is an information and community product for pet-friendly restaurants, malls, parking references and user-submitted content. Information in the product is for general reference only and is not official approval, legal advice or a merchant guarantee.
Restaurant eligibility is primarily based on the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department and other official sources. Mall, car park, pet-friendly area, parking offer, opening hour and access information should always be checked against the venue or merchant's latest official channels.
Registration may require an email address, Hong Kong +852 mobile number, unique username and at least one pet profile. These details are used for sign-in, saved-place sync, friend features, abuse prevention and service support.
Location is used only after the user grants permission. PetOnTrack does not publicly show a user's live location and does not provide GPS check-in.
User-submitted saved places, comments, photos, group messages or other content must be lawful, accurate and not infringe third-party rights. PetOnTrack may hide, remove or restrict violating content or accounts when needed.
Users are responsible for following venue rules, licence conditions, hygiene requirements and applicable Hong Kong laws, and for the behaviour, safety and impact of pets travelling with them.
PetOnTrack takes reasonable measures to protect accounts and personal data, and uses such data only for service delivery, safety, legal compliance or with user consent.
Questions about data sources, account information or privacy arrangements can be sent through the contact channels published by PetOnTrack. This page may be updated as the service, law or operations change.
Before posting comments, photos, discussions or activity updates, users must accept these rules. Do not publish harassment, hate, threats, sexual or violent material, scams, spam, impersonation, illegal content, personal contact details, private health records, content that endangers people or animals, or material you do not have permission to share. Content must be relevant and reasonably accurate. PetOnTrack may review, hide or remove content and restrict accounts. Every public content surface provides reporting, and signed-in users can block other accounts to hide their content. Serious safety or legal concerns may be escalated to the relevant authorities.
To operate and improve the service, PetOnTrack records product events, page paths, campaign attribution, browser information and approximate country, region or city supplied by our hosting provider. A request IP address is converted server-side into a keyed, irreversible short hash before analytics storage; the full IP address is not stored or shown in the admin interface. When a valid signed-in session is present, activity may be linked to that account for security, support and aggregate product analysis. Shared networks and mobile carriers can cause one hash to represent multiple people. Access is restricted to authorised administrators and retention is reviewed as the service grows.
Some place details, ratings and photos are supplied by Google Maps and remain subject to Google Maps Platform Terms and the Google Privacy Policy. Google-supplied content is identified in the interface and links back to Google Maps where available.
